Terms of use
The rules for buying and using Critical Supply: the book, the online resource and the interactive tools.
Draft, not legal advice. This page is a placeholder drafted for the site build. It has not been reviewed by a lawyer and should not be relied on as a binding terms-of-use document until it has been. Replace this notice once reviewed.
What you are buying
Critical Supply offers two products: the printed book, sold and shipped by Amazon, and online access to the full resource, a one-off payment with no subscription or recurring charge. Prices are shown on the pricing page in Australian dollars.
Online access
Any account can read the first two chapters free, with no payment required. Online access is a personal, non-transferable licence to use the website’s reader, data sets, interactive tools, briefs and glossary for all 14 chapters, for as long as the site operates. Accounts are for one person. Sharing a login is outside the terms of this licence.
The print edition
The print book is sold and shipped by Amazon. Amazon’s own checkout, delivery terms and returns process apply to a print order, not this site’s.
Payment and pricing
Payment is processed by a third-party checkout provider. Card details are never stored by or visible to this site. Prices may change for future purchases; they do not change retroactively for a purchase already made.
Case-study overviews
Case-study overviews are available to everyone without an account. Full chapters, chapter data, the route model, sources and the interactive tools require online access.
Acceptable use
Content, data sets and tool outputs are for personal, educational or internal professional use. Republishing, scraping or redistributing the underlying content without permission is not permitted.
Changes
This page may be updated from time to time. Material changes will be reflected here with a new effective date once this draft has been finalised.
